During a recent visit to Goshen Indiana I had time to check out some of the local cycling facilities. This small town has put a good bit of multi-jursidiction work into creating interconnected trails that enable cyclists some sweet recreational and commuting options. One notable trail is the Pumpkinvine. Using the roadbed of the old Pumpkinvine Railroad they've created a beautiful corridor facility for commuters, families and enthusiasts alike.
I was frequently reminded of the many esthetic and design choices we have yet to make here in Harrisonburg's own Northend Greenway project. Clearly, well thought-out designs encourage and excite riding at all levels.
