New for 2013: Massanutten ENDURO:
Massanutten has partnered with Shenandoah Mountain Touring to add a 4 stage Enduro event to this year’s Saturday HOO-HA! Schedule. The Enduro format is an incredible way to experience the amazing trails that come off of the Massanutten ridge line. Stage one is a blaster from the lower ridge line that will set the start order for the days main runs. Stage two from Kaylor’s is a technical smorgasbord guaranteed to crush some souls before it drops down the Ravine Trail. Stage three will be from the Overlook to the Upper and Lower Ravine trails finishing on the Hanenkahm. Stage 4 will start from the Overlook and descend the 2000 hours trail to the Homestead, finishing with a short sprint up a gravel road. Stage 4 will settle the score for the day as it gives us the overall victors for the Enduro and the one run Super D Champs. Entry includes two shuttles (stage 3 & 4) up the mountain and an amazingly good time. Expect a few 30 second uphill segments in each run. Don’t miss out on this exciting social all mountain trail riding event.
