November Shenduro

November Shenduro

LifeStyle. Riding. Virginia.

On November 16th, the story continues on a full backcountry style shred on the remotest southwesternmostest drainages of the Shenandoah River Watershed.  Twice up Little Bald Knob offers descents on Camp Todd and Chestnut Ridge with a victory lap on Trimble.

It'll be a fun group ride with some itt style timed stages, all gravity fed with some pedalling & plenty of safety brakes.  People will likely be going very fast down the mountain.  We'll be shuttling twice up for the Shenduro and pedalling up for the final the victory lap & stage 3 on Trimble.  Each shuttle trip will include a 30+ minute climb with a fire & hot cocoa at the regroup on Little Bald Knarb before the descending.

Be prepared for a big day with around 5000' of descending and approximately 18 miles of raddin'. There will be vehicles at the bottoms of each descent for reloading your campbell's pack.  Folks that want to bail on one run are encouraged to help with shuttles.

Register by joining the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition.
