OH SNAP!!! You broke a spoke!

It's inevitable, at some point in time you will break a spoke.  Whether it's out on the dusty trail or commuting to class.  It can happen at any time, anyplace, and most likely nowhere near a bike shop.  No worries though, it's not the end of the world or the end of your ride.  Simply follow a few steps and you can be on your way!

1st: Identify your broken spoke

2nd: secure the broken spoke (by wrapping it around the closest neighbor) 

3rd: if possible, open your brakes enough to prevent wheel rub (with disc brakes this is  not an issue) 

4th: Carry on your merry way (a stop by a bike shop is encouraged before setting out on your next adventure)
